Join us for a day of exploring New York outside of the City, during a beautiful time of year to be outdoors!
We will start the day at Storm King Art Center, an amazing outdoor art gallery. After the gallery, we will stop for lunch. Then, right down the road, we will do a hike in Storm King State Park, which Hike the Hudson Valley describes as having "the best views of the Hudson Valley you're likely to find without renting a helicopter." The weather is supposed to be perfect and the fall foliage will be at its peak!
Please note, this hike is a moderately challenging 2.5 hour loop. There will be some steep areas in the first 30 minutes or so, and then the hike will be more of a walk. Make sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes/boots.
We are renting two SUVs for transportation. To reserve your seat(s), students must RSVP in OrgSync (button below) and purchase a ticket for each person attending. The fee covers transportation, gallery admission, and lunch. Tickets are non-refundable.
