Co-President: Oanh Maxfield

Born and raised in California, Oanh lived in Louisiana, Missouri,Texas, and Colorado before journeying to NYC with her husband, Sam (CBS H'20), and four-year-old son, Tullius. Oanh's favorite activities include hiking (or anything outdoors), travel, live music, and exploring NYC with her partner in crime, Tully. Moreover, she enjoys taking Tully to his favorite events, CBS Socials!

Jessica is originally from Guatemala and moved to NYC last year with her husband, after living in Charlotte for several years. Jessica studied Law at the Universidad Francisco Maroquín in Guatemala City and has worked in non-profit financial services, as well as in real estate investments. Her husband, Ross, is part of the 2020 class and is moving into investment banking after working in real estate prior to CBS.

Jessica has a baby boy, Leo, who was born in the middle of her husband’s crazy recruiting season and first semester at CBS.

Her interests include frequenting classes at Dodge Fitness Center, stand-up at the comedy cellar, & exploring new restaurants/bakeries.

VP of Careers: Maria Lopez

Born and raised in NY, Maria went to UCLA and spent the last few years in Los Angeles. She now works at International Refugee Committee in their NY Resettlement office. In her free time she loves going to concerts, traveling and doing anything outdoors.

Joana is from Évora, Portugal and is a SAP consultant.  She holds a MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Lisbon.  Her husband, José Marques, is part of 2020 class and he is focusing on Finance.

In NY, the BHC has been an incredible help to meet new people and to enjoy different activities. She enjoys exploring new restaurants, learning new languages, movies, being with friends, cooking desserts and traveling around the world. 

María is from Madrid, Spain and is a real estate financial analyst. She has a double degree in Law and Business from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE). She worked for a real estate investment fund before coming to NY. 


Her husband, Alvaro Pasquin, is a first year student focused on investment management. 


In NY, Maria is auditing MBA classes while enjoying the city. She loves traveling, painting, exploring new places and discovering restaurants.

Barbara is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She holds a degree in Sociology from University of Buenos Aires, has a graduate degree in Education and is currently studying  Diplomacy in Education and New Technologies.

Before moving to New York, she worked for Teach for All (Argentina).


Her husband, Dario Kalmus, is part of the 2020 class (cluster X). He works in management consulting and is focused on data analytics.


In New York, Barbara is exploring the city and meeting new people. She loves traveling, playing board games, reading and playing sports

AVP of Events: Ellie Abbott

Ellie Abbott is from Boston, MA and has recently relocated to New York City after living in Los Angeles for the past eight years. Ellie attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and is thrilled to be back on the East coast. 

Ellie is passionate about all things music and events, and as a professional music manager enjoys going out to shows and traveling. In New York, Ellie enjoys exploring the city for new restaurants, museums, movie theaters/venues, hanging with friends and attempting to cook in her apartment. 

Giulia is originally from Sicily, but she lived in Rome with her husband for two years before moving to NYC in January 2019. She is a health and safety engineer and she is currently working for her company in Italy. On her own time she dances salsa and she has fun in editing photos.

Her husband, Francesco, is part of the 2020 class and he is focused on entrepreneurship.

Domitila is a journalist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. The past four years, she worked for the newspaper LA NACION, where she published articles related to national politics and human interest stories. 

Her boyfriend, Tomas Novoa, is a management consultant for Bain & Co., and is currently a first-year student of the class 2020. 

Since Domitila arrived in NY, she's enjoyed knowing more the city and scouting stories to tell her readers back home. 

Isabella is from São Paulo, Brazil, and has a BA in Fashion Design. She has focused her career in working with the relationships between Fashion and Sustainability. Her husband, Gabriel de Santis, is a management consultant and part of the 2020 class.

In NYC, the BHC has helped her mingle with new people from all over the world. She enjoys watching TV series, going to restaurants and exploring new places

VP of Family: Karen Morishima

Sarah Bicknell is originally from Louisiana and has lived in NYC since 2015. A graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, she currently works in Investor Relations. Outside of work, she’s involved in several philanthropic and social organizations in New York and enjoys taking workout classes to stay active. Her partner, Walker Berning, is a New York native and a graduate of Trinity College. He is pursuing an MBA with a focus on finance and private equity and is involved with the Private Equity and Golf Clubs at CBS.

Yeri is originally from South Korea and has lived in NYC since August 2018. She studied Industrial Engineering in Korea and worked as a demand and supply planner in Singapore, UK, and Korea before moving to NYC. In NYC, she enjoys meeting new people and learning Latin dances.

Her Husband, Dan, is an MBA 2020 student and is focusing on Strategy & Operations.
